The City Of Austin is proclaiming the first day of Summer, Tuesday June 21st, as Sun Radio Day! So we’re going to celebrate the occasion with a party South Austin-style at Moontower Saloon!
You’re invited to join Sun Radio at the Moontower Saloon (10212 Menchaca Rd.) for the official Sun Radio Day Proclamation and Party.
Join us from 6p to 9p with live music from Western Youth and The Wyatt Weaver Band!
This event is a fundraiser to support the Sun Radio Foundation.

Since 2020, the Sun Radio Foundation, through the Sun Radio Recharge Program, has put over $130,000 back into the community thanks to donations from listeners. During the pandemic money was given to musicians who couldn’t perform. During the winter of 2021, the Sun Radio Foundation paid the electric bills of those dealing with the effects of the winter storm. This July, the Sun Radio Foundation will support Operation Blue Santa during the Christmas in July weekend.
