Sun Radio Sessions 2026 Recap

Sun Radio Sessions 2026 was one for the books. From start to finish, this year brought together an incredible mix of artists, venues, and moments all across Austin.

We kicked things off at Donn’s Depot with a stacked lineup, celebrating Kevin Connor’s 70th birthday. Calder Allen, Shinyribs, Carolyn Wonderland & Shelley King, West Texas Exiles, and Molecular Steve kept things rolling all afternoon, and Bob Schneider made a special appearance that really topped it off. The place was packed, and it felt like one of those classic Austin music days you don’t forget.

Saturday we settled in at Hotel Ella for a laid-back afternoon of music. Stephen Sanchez, Theo Lawrence, Elijah Delgado, MT Jones, Deloyd Elze, Tomar and the FCs, Jessie Chambers, and BettySoo all brought something unique. The more stripped-down setting made it feel a lot more personal—one of those days where you discover new favorites.

We wrapped things up with Texas Radio Live at Moontower Saloon. Monte Warden and The Wagoneers sounded great, and Analog Dog really came through during a hectic week, bringing a ton of energy to close everything out.

All in all, Sun Radio Sessions 2026 was just a great reminder of how special the Central Texas music scene is—great crowds, great artists, and a whole lot of good moments.
