Maren Morris returns to her home state of Texas for a run of shows, including a stop at ACL Live at the Moody Theater. Ahead of the performances, she caught up with Kevin Connor of Sun Radio to talk about her songwriting process, the artists who shaped her sound—including Patty Griffin—and life on the road.

In the conversation, she also shares a few personal takes, from musical inspirations to one thing she misses most while living in Nashville: good Tex-Mex.
