Seedling Mentors Children Affected by the Incarceration of Their Parent

Unfortunately, children with one or both parents incarcerated face significant challenges in their social, scholastic, and everyday life. Fortunately, there’s a nonprofit whose sole purpose is to provide a safety net to those children through mentoring. Seedling was created in 2006.  Since then, their “Mentor Program has served over 3000 students, with a presence at one time or another on 100+ campuses in 17 independent and charter districts across Central Texas.” That’s amazing! Dan Leal, Chief Executive Officer of Seedling, tells you how you can help the nonprofit grow, the benefits the children receive from mentoring, and more, on this episode of ‘The Regional Report.’ LISTEN right HERE!
