Sanctuary Helps Find Safe Spaces for Victims of Domestic Violence

Domestic violence is a serious problem in communities everywhere. Did you know that every year over 15 million children in America are exposed to intimate partner violence? Finding a safe space for victims of domestic violence in a timely fashion is paramount to create a pathway to safety for the individuals affected. Statistics show that 13% of victims who return to their place of abuse end up dead. Sanctuary works with first responders, advocates, and service organizations, to help find emergency housing. Their goal is to help transition domestic violence victims into survivors.
