Chuck Berry’s “School Days” tells the story of a mundane school day and the enjoyment of young romance and music afterwards. It was used rather perfectly in the 1979 high school movie “Rock ‘n’ Rock High School.”

Alice Cooper’s “School’s Out” is a song eternally associated with school-time angst and summer vacation. It’s been featured famously in “Dazed and Confused” and “Rock ‘n’ Rock High School.”

Though almost any All American Rejects song could take you right back to high school, “Dirty Little Secret” is definitely one of the most memorable. The 2000s movies “John Tucker Must Die” and “She’s The Man” include it in their soundtracks.
