An amazing turnout packed Meridian in Buda for the latest Sun Radio Southbound Concert Series, and Sue Foley delivered a set to match.
She blazed through fiery blues instrumentals and standout originals, all while brandishing her iconic pink paisley guitar, “Pinky.” Midway through the show, she slowed things down with a few acoustic tunes—including a train song—made even more memorable as one of Buda’s trains rumbled by in the background, adding a perfectly unplanned soundtrack to the moment.
With Sue on her way to New Orleans for Jazz Fest, the crowd got a rare treat—catching a true blues guitar legend in an intimate setting right here in Buda. It was a special night that showed exactly what Southbound is all about: up-close performances, great energy, and unforgettable live music moments.
