Blues guitarist Sue Foley recently sat down with Nakia to chat ahead of a big week with Sun Radio.

She joins us as our Artist in Residence, guest DJing and spinning some of her favorite tracks while sharing the influences that shaped her career as a blues guitarist. Then you can catch her live at Sun Radio’s Southbound Concert Series at Meridian in Buda on Friday, April 24.

In the conversation, Sue Foley talks with Nakia about her legendary guitar “Pinky,” the women guitarists who influenced her and helped break through a space long dominated by men, and her upcoming book Guitar Women, out June 9.
