On Tuesday April 12th, the City Of Austin will proclaim April 12th “John Dromgoole Day!” The proclamation ceremony will take place at The Natural Gardener (8648 Old Bee Caves Rd) Tuesday, April 12th at 11am.

For over 9 years, John has hosted his very own country music program “Dance Halls & Last Calls” on Sun Radio every Sunday at 9am & on KDRP 103.1FM Dripping Springs every Saturday at 8pm. He has been a huge (if not the biggest supporter) of Sun Radio since the early years of the radio station.

John is known in the Austin community & the world at large as “The Natural Gardener”, owner of the store of the same namesake off Old Bee Caves Road. He has been an advocate & pioneering force of environmental issues & advancement of organics for over 40 years.
