It is a full mix of emotions I’m feeling as I depart from my weekday midday on-air time with you at Sun Radio. It has been the coolest, unforeseen job that serendipitously came my way almost 6 years ago (shoutout to both Kevin Connor for thinking of me & Daryl O’Neal for then believing in me!)

From “The Choffel Shuffle” to BYOV to Bajo el Sol, it has been so incredible to get to share my musical loves with you. So thank you, thank you, thank you for listening to me, for hanging out with me, for giving me a home, particularly during a crazy time in my life (babies, small children, pandemics, ice storms!). It has been so fulfilling to be a voice in your world, to get to interview other artists backstage, to get to be an integral part of our incredible Texas music community in ways other than performance.

Alas, it’s time for me to re-focus on my voice’s first calling: I am getting back into the music thing “full on” this year, releasing a new album this fall & setting my sights on big jumps for my musical career.

I hope you will continue to be a part of my musical world, and don’t worry, I’m not completely leaving the Sun Radio airwaves. I will be announcing something fun real soon that I get to be a part of on a weekly basis, so yay, more fun to be had!
